Cearra Deaton

About

Cearra was born and raised in Florida and moved to Chama in April of 2026 after becoming engaged. Cearra is very family oriented with her life centered around her loved ones and her passion for horses. Cearra has one brother and two step siblings back in Florida. When she was younger, Cearra would go to the beach with her Mom and Grandparents. Cearra was very active in High School playing basketball and flag football as well as numerous equestrian experiences. During high school, she attended four years of Veterinary Assistant classes and volunteered at multiple vet offices. After high school she was determined to become a marine biologist due to her love of the ocean and animals. Instead, she attended cosmetology school. Cearra loves to travel, explore new places and meet new people. Growing up in Florida, she was able to experience so many fun activities; but her favorite was swimming with dolphins! Outside of work Cearra loves talking with her family catching up, or out training horses for fun. Cearra is very excited about working at Alcorn Insurance Agency where she will have the opportunity to learn new things and interact with the community, she now calls home.
